The Greenport Village tree lighting is part of the annual Parade of Lights, which takes place on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

The parade starts at the corner of Main and Center Streets, proceeds through the village, and ends at Mitchell Park, where the tree will be lit. The event features lighted fire trucks, Santa and Mrs. Claus, caroling by local school children, and hot chocolate.
